Depository of Geek: Now that is Star Wars!

As many of you I am sure are well aware, there is a new trailer for Star Wars:The Clone Wars Season 5.   I must say having seen it, it demonstrates what Star Wars is capable of.  It simply is what the prequel trilogy should have been.  Take a look below:

I love the return of Maul and the fact that he has a brother.  I love they are featuring Mandalor and the warriors.  I really dig the idea of there being multiple factions of Sith, each fighting for control amid the chaos of The Clone Wars.  The music for the trailer is quite good and it is just very well put together.

Again this is what Episode II should have been.  This is what this rich universe is capable of delivering.  Up to this point I had written off this series as another boring revenue stream for Lucas.  But based on this trailer I may have to give this a look. 

Maul, Obi Wan, Sith, Mandalorians, oh my!
